For the first time, TBILL can be traded on a licensed exchange’s orderbook, allowing eligible investors to buy and sell TBILL against USD.

Hong Kong and Bermuda, 28 September 2026 — OpenEden, a leading regulated tokenization platform, today announced that its Treasury Bills Institutional Liquidity Limited ($TBILL) Fund is now available for spot trading on the orderbook of EX.IO, a virtual asset trading platform licensed by the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (SFC).
The listing marks the first time $TBILL is available for trading on a licensed exchange’s orderbook and extends $TBILL’s availability on EX.IO from primary distribution to in-platform trading. Eligible investors can now trade $TBILL on EX.IO’s orderbook through the TBILL/USD pair.
EX.IO’s Primary Distribution (PD) channel, live since March 2026, remains available for subscriptions and redemptions at the fund’s net asset value (NAV), subject to its minimum investment and settlement terms. The orderbook adds a continuous market alongside it, where eligible investors can enter and exit outside PD settlement times and at flexible order sizes.
$TBILL provides on-chain exposure to short-dated US Treasury bills. $TBILL’s underlying assets are managed by BNY Investments and are held in custody by The Bank of New York (BNY). The $TBILL Fund holds an ‘AA+f’ fund credit quality rating and an ‘S1+’ fund volatility rating from S&P Global Ratings. It also made history as the first tokenized US Treasury product to receive an investment-grade rating from Moody’s.
“Institutions consider how they will exit a position when deciding whether, and how much, to invest,” said Jeremy Ng, Founder and CEO of OpenEden. “Having liquid markets is an essential component of making tokenized assets viable for larger allocations. Bringing $TBILL onto EX.IO’s orderbook is a step in that direction, giving eligible investors another way to manage their exposure as their liquidity requirements evolve.”
“Compliant overnight yield only becomes useful when capital can move,” said Chen Wu, CEO, EX.IO. “Bringing OpenEden’s $TBILL onto our orderbook is the last mile of that idea — primary distribution plus more efficient trading, under SFC supervision. It is how EX.IO intends to explore RWA world: not as a catalogue of tokens, but as a market.”
This listing builds on the strategic partnership announced in February 2026 between OpenEden and EX.IO, which established EX.IO as OpenEden’s first VATP partner in Hong Kong. The partnership was formed to broaden the selection of high-quality, regulated tokenized financial assets for the Hong Kong market.
