OpenEden Selects RedStone to Power NAV Oracle for HYBOND on BNB Chain

The integration brings trusted and verifiable on-chain NAV data to the first tokenized BNY bond fund on BNB Chain, with additional networks to follow. Upcoming integration with RedStone Settle will also power T+0 settlement for HYBOND.

OpenEden Selects RedStone for HYBOND NAV Oracle on BNB Chain

Bermuda, 17 September 2026 — OpenEden, a leading regulated tokenization platform, and RedStone, the data layer for institutional DeFi, today jointly announced the launch of a net asset value (NAV) oracle for HYBOND on BNB Chain. The oracle brings the underlying fund’s NAV on-chain, giving applications that integrate HYBOND a precise, verifiable price to value it against.

HYBOND is the first tokenized BNY bond fund providing 1:1 on-chain access to the BNY Mellon Global Short-Dated High Yield Bond Fund. As a composable token, it can be used in lending and borrowing markets, risk-tranching protocols, and other DeFi applications. All of them depend on an accurate, verifiable price to value collateral and set liquidation thresholds.

Since the price should originate from the fund itself, RedStone’s oracle pulls HYBOND’s underlying fund’s disclosed NAV from BNY Investments. It authenticates the source independently as a third party and publishes signed updates that can be verified on-chain. These updates follow the fund’s reporting schedule, ensuring protocols read the same NAV the fund reports through a standard oracle interface.

“We see tokenization as a way to put traditional investment strategies into the hands of on-chain builders,” said Jeremy Ng, Founder and CEO of OpenEden. “With HYBOND, we want to broaden the range of financial products those builders can create around professionally managed bond exposure, and RedStone provides the verifiable valuation data they need to bring them to market.”

“Tokenized credit is moving beyond the cash-equivalent assets that have dominated the market, but bringing higher-yield credit onchain requires infrastructure that can handle how these assets are actually priced and settled,” said Marcin Kazmierczak, Co-Founder of RedStone. “HYBOND is a strong example of where this market is heading. With verified pricing today and T+0 settlement through RedStone Settle, institutional credit can move from simply being represented onchain to becoming usable within DeFi.”

OpenEden and RedStone also plan to deploy RedStone Settle for HYBOND, which will connect eligible holders and lending markets with vetted liquidity providers to support HYBOND’s T+0 settlement of liquidations and redemptions.

The oracle deployment on BNB Chain will be followed by planned expansion of the NAV oracle and Settle infrastructure across additional major networks, including Ethereum. The details on network expansion and the Settle deployment will be announced separately.
