OpenEden, a leading regulated tokenization platform, today announced that its information security management system (ISMS) has been certified to ISO/IEC 27001:2022, the internationally recognized standard for information security management. The certification follows an independent two-stage audit of OpenEden’s policies, processes, and controls for identifying, treating, and monitoring information security risk.
OpenEden’s tokenization platform issues and administers tokenized financial products, including TBILL, USDO, PRISM, and most recently HYBOND, which offers tokenized access to the BNY Mellon Global Short-Dated High Yield Bond Fund. As the platform scales across products and institutional workflows, the certification attests that OpenEden’s systematic approach to information security, including the governance and controls that protect information across its operations, conforms to the industry’s highest standards.

Building secure technology takes more than strong infrastructure. The way we manage information, govern access, assess risk, and respond to incidents is just as critical.
“Building secure technology takes more than strong infrastructure. The way we manage information, govern access, assess risk, and respond to incidents is just as critical,” said Duke Du, Co-Founder and CTO of OpenEden. “By closing the Stage 2 audit with zero nonconformities, we demonstrated that those disciplines are already a defined part of how we build, operate, and scale our products.”
The ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification requires ongoing surveillance audits and full recertification every three years, making the standard a continuing operating discipline rather than a one-time assessment.
As OpenEden continues its mission to tokenize global finance, ISO/IEC 27001 strengthens the foundation for securely scaling its products, technology, and institutional operations.
